Note: The U-Knighted Fair overlapped with this meeting, so there were many expected absences today.

Brief mention of an upcoming presentation for next week about partnering with Institutional Effectiveness and navigating bias when working with data

Mention of data literacy trainings – To be brought up again at the next meeting.

Ad-Hoc Group Updates:

  • Student Mobile Numbers – Audrey
    • In Navigate, Navigate will change the logic for the cell phone field
      • When Navigate pulls phone number data from Banner, if the cell phone field is blank, it will populate the home number from Banner
    • Navigate to also update additional back-end cell phone number logic on
    • Next, the group will tackle how cell phone numbers are actually used at the college
  • Zogotech Outstanding Ticket/Enhancement Cleanup + IPEDS Data Element Additions – Mike S.
    • Using ZEL to more efficiently join Banner data to ZT data, which is being used for reporting purposes
  • Stop-Ins vs Alumni
    • No update
  • Veteran’s Affairs Data Cleanup
    • No update
  • Pre-requisites – Audrey
    • Automation of pre-requisite update has been resolved on Navigate’s side
    • More technical issues to be resolved going forward
