  • Call for integration of any initiatives/projects that are related to data governance but not are not currently connected with the data governance group
    • Human Resources Data Quality – Patty Gauron
      • Some data quality issues, such as inconsistent codes and job titles, right manager but wrong department, etc.
        • HRCMS does not have any data validation functions and allows you to enter in any managers/departments, etc.
      • Active Directory is derived from BANNER – after HRCMS data is cleaned, Chris Amaru will leverage code to full HRCMS data and push it to BANNER and therefore an updated Active Directory.

New Ad-Hoc Group

  • Secure Data Transfer Practices/Policies
    • Inconsistent data transfer practices across the school, like sending data through email, text in email, etc.
      • Danny – Forms going out asking for PII
    • Would like to convene a group to address inconsistent data transfer practices across the school
