  • Call for integration of any initiatives/projects that are related to data governance but not are not currently connected with the data governance group
    • Shana mentioned that it would be helpful for the Alumni Office to be alerted if an individual who may be in Raiser’s Edge (alumni database) updates their preferred name.
    • Shawna replied that she and Shana could talk to Cheryl Tine in Enrollment Services to see if there is any business process for mutual notification that could be set up.
    • Mike mentioned that it was unclear if that field could be accessed via ZogoTech, but that it was in Banner and could be used.

Ad-Hoc Group Updates:

  • ZogoTech Outstanding Ticket/Enhancement Cleanup + IPEDS Data Element Additions
    • Mike has been sitting with HEIRS Improvement Group and they are considering changes to some of the race/ethnicity coding to show additional details.
    • They also continue to discuss changing census dates to end of term for a variety of reasons.
    • These changes are not immediately imminent, but something to be aware of.
  • Secure Data Transfer Practices/Policies
    • N/A
  • Destiny One Updates
    • N/A
  • HR Data Cleanup
    • Sam mentioned that the HR data cleanup is moving along.
    • HR sent out area reports and got changes back. HRCMS is now updated.
    • They are now in the process of terminating records which can be difficult because employee status is not always communicated.
  • Dean’s List
    • Shawna mentioned that Dean’s List is housed in AA Office.
    • She reached out for any policies and procedures that they have relating to Dean’s List.
    • This will be run with academic standing and can be included on the transcript. They hope to have this in place by the end of fall.
    • Dean’s list will not be done retroactively. Once it is run that is it.
  • Stop Out vs. Alumni
    • Will be meeting in the upcoming weeks.
