- Call for integration of any initiatives/projects that are related to data governance but not are not currently connected with the data governance group
Ad-Hoc Group Updates:
Student Mobile Numbers: no update
Zogotech (Mike) – up and running on SQL, running code using banner instead of ZT – can start writing code to upload to ZEL – will be a step closer to one short SQL HEIRS file and taking out the middle man
Stop Ins vs Alumni (Dave) – looking at predictive analytics to use as main marker – looking at length of time it took someone to graduate. If someone didn’t graduate, still interested in how long they were a student. Then, looking at how many times they stopped out and the length of those stop outs. For those who haven’t graduated yet but are still in the program, making sure they’re still in the period of time we would expect them to be and the lags in their tenure here and if they’re currently stopped out. Lapse: currently not active students but they were here for a length of time. Data is important to go back as far as we can so we can have a robust data base – Start looking at what programs they’re in, ages, location to develop descriptive analytics- what do these students look like and who are they? Then we can try to save people from lapses

Destiny 1 (Sandy) made some great progress on the DESI side of the house – they are starting to learn destiny 1 – recently added the proficiency exams, attendance, looking at how to capture completion of certificate programs to build up data collection. They were asked to put together a ‘wish list’ of what things we would want
