Call for New Projects or Initiatives

Mike shared an update that NECC will be doing a pilot study with a company called Cedar Labs. The software enables the reporting data to come directly from Banner versus downloading and uploading data files. This will have an ETL similar to ZogoTech and could mean implications for Banner.

Ad-Hoc Group Update

- No updates at this time.

Secure Data Transfer Practices/Policies
- Martha mentioned that the group had lost some members which has delayed things. She, Danny, and Shawna will be meeting soon to make some progress. Kirsten volunteered to join the group.

HR Data Cleanup
- Angel mentioned that he and Sam were working together to validate the data and determine whether some fields are still in use. They are also communicating with the state to make changes there before rolling things out here.

Dean’s List
- Kirsten shared that this has been on hold due to the PRAC refresh being pushed back. Shawna mentioned that they may be ready to test it the first week of December.

Communication Protocol for Faculty and Staff reaching out to students
- This group has scaled down its focus to discuss creating a texting communication protocol only.
- The group is drafting a policy and process that should be ready to share with the group by the next meeting.
