- The next Data Governance meeting was originally scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving. That meeting will be moved to November 20th instead.
Standing Updates
- ZogoTech Outstanding Ticket/Enhancement Cleanup + HEIRS Data Element Additions
- Mike let everyone know that the HEIRS Improvement Group will now be called the Cross Campus Data Forum.
- This group aims to have a more active structure including working groups and focused projects.
- Because the group is newly formed there is nothing else to report at this time.

- Marcellus let the group know that this project is ongoing.

- Financial Value Transparency & Gainful Employment Act (FVT GE Act)
- Heather let everyone know that the working group had made good progress.
- They may be receiving some support from MIS with specific pieces of the report that are challenging.
- The group has an internal reporting deadline of mid-December.

Ad-Hoc Group Updates
- HR Data Cleanup
- This project is ongoing, with no new updates at this time.
- Texting Regulations and Policies related to multiple systems and opt-outs
- Heather, Danny, and Kirsten are planning to meet in November to discuss the law in more detail.
- Veteran Affairs Data Cleanup
- Angela said that her office is working to clean the data and to better track veteran students.
Miscellaneous
- Update on Third-Party Servicer (TPS) Rule
- Heather shared that this rule is on hold, and was not included in the proposed rules for comment.
- By 11/16, the Department of Education will officially rescind that proposal.
- FERPA Trainings
- Shawna is offering to provide FERPA trainings to any areas of the college who are interested. She has already spoken to a few departments. Anyone who is interested should reach out.
