Graduate Follow-Up
Each spring IRE sends the Graduate Follow-Up Survey to students who graduated the previous academic year. We ask questions regarding current education, employment, and satisfaction with NECC. The responses’ of graduates compliment institution wide decision-making focused on enhancing current and future student experiences at NECC.
Community College Survey of Student Engagement
The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) is a survey developed by the Center for Community College Student Engagement that many community colleges administer to their students in an effort to gauge and compare student engagement. NECC has asked a sample of the student population to complete this survey biennially for the past decade.

Institutional Capacity Assessment
The Institutional Capacity Assessment Tool (ICAT) is a survey designed by Achieving the Dream (AtD), focusing on seven broad capacity areas that AtD believes contribute to a student-focused culture. In Spring 2017, all NECC faculty and staff were invited to complete the survey, and aggregate results were discussed in a World Cafe event at Fall 2017 Convocation.
